About HANNA S. QUBTI, M.Arch.

Hanna S. Qubti is a Jordanian-born architect, academic, and artist with a passion for sustainable and innovative architectural design. He earned his Master’s Degree in Architectural Design (M.Arch) with distinction from the University of Nottingham in 2020, following a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the German Jordanian University in 2017. Qubti is the recipient of the prestigious Saint-Gobain Award for Architecture (2021), celebrating his team's exceptional achievements in the Multi-Comfort Student Contest for the revitalization of the historic neighborhood of Saint-Denis, Paris—a recognition he received from Saint-Gobain, France through the University of Nottingham.
Qubti’s expertise focuses on high-rise architecture. His master’s dissertation serves as a comprehensive guidebook, exploring the challenges and opportunities of skyscraper design within the urban context of Amman, Jordan. He has built his practical skills through valuable training experiences at renowned architectural firms in Amman, Jordan, and Düsseldorf, Germany. His innovative and sustainable designs have earned him awards in Jordan, France, and the United Kingdom.
In addition to his architectural practice, Qubti is a dedicated academic who actively contributes to the discourse on architectural theory and practice. Since 2020, he has been teaching studio-and-lab-based architecture courses at the American University of Madaba and Al Hussein Technical University in Jordan. Beyond his role as an instructor, Qubti has held several significant administrative posts. At the American University of Madaba, he served as the Assistant and Vice Dean of Student Affairs, in addition to being a member of the Steering Committee for the New England Commission of Higher Education Accreditation (NECHE). In this capacity, he and his team played a crucial role in ensuring the institution's continued alignment with accreditation requirements, achieving candidacy status by the end of his tenure on the committee.
