As a member of the American Accreditation Steering Committee, chaired by Prof. Mamoun Akroush, President of AUM, Arch. Hanna S Qubti had the privilege of serving as the chairperson of Subcommittee Five. In this role, he was responsible for preparing the accreditation requirements aligned with the New England Commission for Higher Education (NECHE) Standard Five: Students. This involved collaborating with fellow committee members to ensure that all criteria were met and effectively communicated, contributing to the overall mission of enhancing the educational experience for students at AUM.
One month after Qubti's departure, the American University of Madaba was awarded Candidacy Status by the New England Commission for Higher Education (NECHE). Qubti regards his and his team's pivotal role in achieving this milestone as one of the crowning achievements of his career, reflecting their dedication, vision, and collective efforts in advancing the university’s academic standing and institutional development.
