This course provided architecture students with essential skills in technical drafting, focusing on the principles and practices necessary for effective architectural representation. Students learned to create accurate and detailed drawings using traditional manual drawing techniques. The course objectives included introducing students to the fundamentals of drafting, such as scale, line weights, symbols, and notation systems used in architectural drawings. They developed proficiency in technical handwriting skills, orthographic projections, covering plan, elevation, and section views, as well as axonometric and isometric projections. The course enhanced students’ abilities to visualize and communicate design concepts through accurate and clear graphical representations.
